Where To Stay

Chatham, Massachusetts, Cape Cod. U.S.A. is the ideal location to book accommodations.

As described in our About Us section, Monomoy Adventures operates charter service from Chatham, MA, Cape Cod, U.S.A.  Cape Cod is an island that extends about 35 miles out into the fresh Atlantic Ocean with Chatham located on the "elbow" of the Cape.  Chatham is surrounded on three sides by water with 72 miles of shorefront and it is the most easterly point in Massachusetts.  Chatham was settled in 1664 and incorporated in 1712 and is considered to be one of the oldest and prettiest towns in New England and you will really get a sense of that when you visit.  Chatham also has a rich maritime history that extends back centuries.  With a working waterfront that is still active today, Chatham is home to one of the most bustling and productive small boat fishing fleets in Massachusetts and at any given point between April and December you can see fishermen unloading their catch at the Chatham Fish Pier.  It is truly a sight to behold and has become quite an attraction over the last decade.  In addition to Chatham's magnificent location and deep sea faring heritage, this port town also has a spirited year-round community and has become a vibrant tourist destination.  It is a special place for both year round residents and visitors alike.  You may not wish to leave!

You will find the natural beauty of Chatham remarkable.  Visitors are drawn to the expansive and magnificent beaches, the lighthouse, wildlife, nature trails, bike path, and stunning views of the ocean.  Chatham has a special blend of the past and present with quaint streets lined with historic sea captains’ homes, a fine selection of historic museums, and a walking downtown area with unique shops, galleries, and restaurants.
